What do you find most enjoyable about working at AU?

Hands down, the people. The students are enthusiastic, dedicated, and engaged with their learning. The Art+Design faculty are collaborative, collegial, and have a great sense of humor.

What I wish prospectives students knew about my discipline or careers in my discipline.

Design is more than programs, products, or professions. It can be process, perspective, and a posture to "be" within the world. And more than anything, it can be possibility in the face of society's greatest problems.

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

Experience-based and active learning environment, focused on student-centric values, learning, and growth.
