Why teach at AU?

After teaching at the high school level for several years, I sought the opportunity to teach at the college level. The ability to openly share my faith with colleagues and students is a blessing. Working with students is the most enjoyable aspect of my job. I hope that my enthusiasm for mathematics will help students gain a better understanding of and appreciation for mathematics.

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

Mathematical concepts are introduced each day, and students are given time to practice problems in class. Technology such as iPads and graphing calculators are utilized in each class.
