Teaching at AU

What year did you start teacing at AU?

2021

How would you describe your classes to someone who has never attended one?

I start each class with a Bible verse, and we discuss how that may apply to our lives. We then pray and begin the class. I try to bring real world experiences into the classroom and create an environment where the students are comfortable and can interact and ask questions.

CYB 340, RISK MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE (HT1)
CYB 410 Cyber Contingency Planning (HT1)

My twin sons attend Anderson University, and I was impressed with Dr. Knapp’s Cybersecurity program. I enjoy interacting with the students, providing job experiences that they can utilize and sharing Jesus with them. Being able to share my faith and biblical principles with the students, as well as teach them about cybersecurity is why I wanted to teach.

There are over 300,000 openings in cybersecurity globally and there is a great need to fill them. Because of the great need, opportunities are very good for a great job when you graduate.

I am active in my church and community.
I have travelled to 5 continents (2 to Go).

I love that I get to share Jesus with my students and that we can have discussion on biblical topics. I also love getting to see my sons on the days I am on campus.
