My goal has always been to teach and serve within the community I live, worship, raise my children, and grow my business. Anderson University is less than a mile from our house, a mile from where our children go to school, a mile from our church (Boulevard Baptist Church), and a mile from my business in downtown Anderson (Rettew Creative).
We are all storytellers. We have the greatest opportunity to engage with the communications industry and help organizations tell their story. It starts right here, growing your skills, your knowledge, building your contact list, and embarking on the journey to become a practitioner. Whether you want to be videographer, social media manager, digital strategist, public relations professional, marketing manager, our even start your own company…it starts right here!
I am a six time Emmy Award winning photojournalist. I have won numerous Associated Press (AP) awards, National Press Photographer Association (NPPA) awards, Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) awards, but nothing compares to being honored by TD Bank as one of eight business nationwide for supporting small businesses during COVID.
I just love working with the students both inside and outside the classroom. Walking across the front lawn, it is fun to see how a small town like Anderson, SC has such a vibrant university that is growing and thriving.

Rettew Creative: A storytelling agency located in downtown Anderson, focused on content creation leveraging video, podcasts, photojournalism, and the written word. We help our clients tell visual stories, clients include: AnMed Health, Calvary Home for Children, Clemson University, Electrolux, Fuji Film, Habitat of Anderson, Homes of Hope, Immedion a DartPoints Company, Roto-Rooter, Safe Harbor, SC Hospital Association, The Duke Endowment.
Touchpoint.Health: Podcast network dedicated to discussions on all things healthcare, including digital marketing and online patient engagement strategies, CIO and technology strategies, the challenges of the online physician, and the power of the e-patient. Bobby serves as the Executive Producer and Show Host (https://touchpoint.health). Touchpoint.Health supports over 25 podcasts with over 30,000 downloads (and growing) each year.
