Welcome to Anderson University and the Class of 2014!
Base Camp is an overnight program designed to get you ready for the upcoming school year. We chose Base Camp as our theme for summer orientation because we see your college experience as a journey similar to climbing a mountain. Before you start, you need to get acclimated and ready yourself for the task ahead. Our time together will be a mix of information and fun that we’re sure will get you prepared to begin your college experience in the fall.
All first-time freshman students and transfer students with less than 13 credit hours are required to attend one of the Base Camp sessions. All sessions will be identical, so please choose the session that best fits your needs. If you are unable to attend any of the sessions please contact our office as soon as possible.
Parents are encouraged to attend Base Camp along with their student. Please see the Parent’s Schedule for more information. Unfortunately, we cannot provide housing on campus for parents or family members.

Orientation Fee
All new students (including transfer students) are required to pay a $50 orientation fee. This fee covers the cost of both the Base Camp summer program and the Welcome Week fall orientation program. The fee may be paid by mail using a check or by credit card over the phone.
To pay by check:
1. Make check payable to Anderson University and write your student’s name and “Orientation” in the memo.
2. Mail check to Anderson University * Attn: Anderson Central* 316 Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621.
To pay by credit card:
1. Call 864-231-2070 and select option 2.
Transfer Students
Base Camp is recommended but not required for transfer students with more than 12 credit hours. If you are a transfer student with more than 12 credit hours and would like to attend a Base Camp session, simply select the dates that work best for you on the registration page.
Transfer students (more than 12 credits) who choose not to attend a Base Camp session are required to attend the Fall Orientation session in August. Please check out the Transfer Link page for the Fall Orientation schedule and other important information just for transfers.
