Technician – Medical Simulation

The Medical Simulation Technician is responsible for duties related to the efficient operation of the Simulation Laboratory Environment and laboratories in the College of Health Professions.  Candidates should be prepared to implement maintenance, set-up, and de-construction of simulation scenarios and laboratory activities for all (CHP) programs, assist in education of new faculty, staff, and students on software utilized in the simulation laboratory and clinical environments (e.g. LearningSpace, simulation software) and assist in scheduling for simulation and laboratory experiences.

The Simulation Technician must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, be self-directed, work independently and be flexible.  A proficiency with Microsoft Office software is essential.
