The Bachelor of Science degree in Biology prepares students for a variety of careers and professional occupations such as public service with federal, state and local natural resource and environmental agencies; consulting and manufacturing firms and educational institutions. The major is also a solid foundation for those wishing to pursue further training in medical, dental, veterinary or graduate school (see section on Pre-Professional Studies). Students interested in pre-Medical studies must contact the Anderson University Pre-Medical Committee. The University currently has an articulation agreement for a Guaranteed Acceptance Program with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM).
